Stewart began his legal career advocating as a prosecuting solicitor for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions New South Wales and has experience in the areas of Commercial, Contract, Employment, Criminal and Human Rights Law.
Since 2007, Stewart has worked only in Australian migration law and has developed significant experience and expertise advising clients in business/investor visas, Australian skilled migration, spouse/family visas, protection visas, section 501 Character cases, visa refusals, cancellation and detention. Stewart regularly acts for immigration clients in matters in the MRT, RRT, AAT and Federal Courts. Stewart has a particular interest in Citizenship matter and applications to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal
Stewart (currently an Immigration Lawyer Sydney) also has extensive legal and commercial experience having worked in private practice, government and in-house as Group Legal Advisor for a Fortune 1000 multinational with offices and subsidiaries in London and across Europe. As a result Stewart is focused on delivering migration outcomes to business clients that fit with their business strategies and human resource requirements.
