New WA Skilled Migration Occupation List released & Perth regional classification to be removed for RSMS
The Western Australian Government has released its newWA Skilled Migration Occupation List for applicants seeking to be sponsored for Subclasses 190 and 489 visas.
The list has been reduced from 178 to18 medical/health related occupations only.
Applicants must have Australian or overseas work experience in their nominated occupation and a positive skills assessment before they will be considered for sponsorship.
The Western Australian Premier, Mark McGowan, also announced today that the Prime Minister has agreed toremove Perth from the federal government’s Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme.
Immigration South Australia – System outage from 29 June & State Nominated Occupations List update
Immigration SA’s application system will close at3pm (ACST) on Thursday 29 June 2017 and will re-open at 12pm (ACST) on Tuesday 4 July 2017.
The re-opening of the application system on 4 July will coincide with therelease of the updated State Nominated Occupation List (SNOL) for 2017/18.
The South Australian government has informed applicants and agents that this closure will affect all existing or new applications for Skilled, Employer Sponsored and Business migration. Any applications in the system that have not submitted by 3pm on29 June will be deleted from the system and will not be able to be accessed again.
