You must apply for a temporary and permanent visa by filling out an application and submitting it to the right bodies for assessment.
After the form examination, if you meet the criteria for this Australian visa, the offices may give you a temporary Partner Visa.
This visa is valid until you receive your permanent visa, usually given two years after the application is lodged.
If you meet all the criteria, even after two years, you get a permanent partner visa.

But you may get a permanent visa without waiting for the stipulated period if you produce evidence that you and your partner have been married or in a relationship for three years or more.
